The Friends Who Started it All
The story of Shorty & Wags starts with two friends- Shorty (Harold Prebish) and Wags (Dwane Wagner) who met back in 1965. Prior to their business venture, Shorty was a welder and Wags was a cook at a Mexican restaurant. What did they have in common? A passion for food (and delicious wings!). Out of their friendship, a successful business began as they opened their fast food restaurant in South Minneapolis that served the best chicken wings for 37 years.
The Legacy Continues
Even though Shorty now lives in Longville, Minnesota, and Wags passed away in 2011, their legacy continues through our family-owned business. We sell chicken seasoning, batter, pork rub, and sauces you can use at home. Whether you’re cooking for your family or entertaining guests, our seasonings and sauces are a great addition to any meal.
